Well, more than you might think.

This is only going to be a very short article as there’s not much to say about it, but colour is very much worth thinking about.

Have you ever observed a homeless camp?

The thing that strikes me about homeless camps is they always look like a dogs breakfast. There’s every hideous colour splashed everywhere and it’s messy and it looks vile. That’s no-ones fault and I’m not suggesting otherwise.

If the goal is harmony in a smaller space, limiting colours becomes important.

In my case, because I’ve built my van to feel like a log cabin I’ve chosen the colours black, brown, grey and green for my décor. Yes, décor!

When you tell someone that you can’t accept that unwanted gift because it doesn’t match your décor they look at you askance. And that’s always fun.
